being able to relive all the magic of the New York World's Fair from
the comfort of your home!
Coming Soon...
Through interactive graphics, photos, audio, and videos, you'll be able
to take a walk through Flushing Meadows Corona Park as it appeared
during the 1964/1965 New York World's Fair. You'll be able to
stop in at your favorite pavilions and learn about the attractions,
shopping, dining, or experiences which captivated millions of visitors
during the Fair's two-year run. At select pavilions, you will
be
able to experience the attraction for yourself in the form of videos or
travelogue-style articles.
Adventures
at the New York World's Fair' is a family-friendly, "click-through"
virtual world featuring representations of sights, sounds, and
experiences found at the 1964-65 New York World's Fair. It's
an
opportunity for you to stroll through the Fair, stopping to enjoy a
limited selection of experiences meant to bring "a day at the World's
Fair" into your home.
For
those of you wanting an even more interactive experience, you can
participate in one of many themed scavenger hunts throughout the
virtual park or participate in virtual special events taking
place
throughout the year.
For
the
best possible experience, it is highly recommended that you use the
most recent version of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Microsoft
Internet Explorer, or Safari.
Google
Chrome users may
experience background audio issues during their visit, but this will
only represent a minor impact to their overall experience.
Safari users may experience missing background audio,
unexpected display issues, or a lack of animation which will negatively
impact their overall experience. It is not recommended that
visitors
experience 'Adventures at the New York World's Fair' with this
browser.
Construction
has begun! This project is a labor of love, and every effort
is
being made to ensure a good time is had by all. If you have
